Quiet Operation at .25" Water Gauge
WhisperCeiling fans feature a totally enclosed condenser motor and a double-tapered, dolphin shaped bladed blower wheel to quietly move air. Since .1" w.g. is an unrealistic amount of static pressure when installed, our fans have been rated at .25" w.g., the industry standard for performance measurement for ASHRAE, ENERGY STAR, LEED for Homes, and HVI. Panasonic leads the way with incomparable sone levels at both .1" and .25" w.g.
Continuous, Trouble-free Operation for Many Years
This fan is designed to give you continuous, trouble-free operation for many years thanks in part to its high-quality components and permanently lubricated motors which wear at a slower pace. Also, since heat is always detrimental to motor life (the cooler the environment, the longer the motor will last), we designed the electrical configuration of this model's condenser motor to allow it to operate at lower temperatures, increasing the life of the motor and bearings. And, the fan housing is made of heavy-gauge zinc galvanized steel and painted to protect it from rust.
User-Friendly Installation
Detachable adaptors, firmly secured duct ends, adjustable mounting brackets (up to 26"), fan/motor units that detach easily from the housing and uncomplicated wiring all lend themselves to user-friendly installation. This model also features a double-hanger bar system for ideal positioning.

Had to shower with the doors open or the rooms would be a sauna even with the fan on. I just replaced them with this Panasonic model. The construction of the Panasonic seems much better and the unt seems robust. After the first two showers, it is night and day. No steam at all in the bathroom and we can now shower with the doors closed. This was a definite good purchase. I have had a repeated problem with mold and mildew appearing on the walls and ceiling of the room, especially during the hot, humid Alabama summers.My husband is very experienced in DIY projects and had no trouble with installation. We wired the fan to the light, and wired the nightlight to the switch that had operated the old fan. Since the old fan was so annoyingly noisy, I wasn't entirely sure I would like the fan and light connected, but as we are getting older and need to start thinking about falls and safety issues, I really wanted the night light, and we didn't want to run new wiring. As it turned out, having the fan and the light on the same switch is just fine, because the fan is so quiet.
